Structure and Vehicle Upgrades affect all of your structures and vehicles throughout the game. Combot Crew Upgrade affect only the Combot Crew that the Upgrade was made to. So when an upgraded Crew dies, those Upgrade Points and Levels are lost forever. Therefore, Upgrades to Vehicles and Structures should almost always be made prior to Crew Upgrades. Structure Upgrades increase every structures' defense (within a defense grid), decrease the amount of Metajoules required to build them, and decrease build times. Vehicle Upgrades increase every vehicles attack damage, decrease the amount of Metajoules required to build them, and decrease their build times. Combot Crew upgrades increase that Crew's Hand-to-Hand and Ranged attack damage.
